St. Paul’s Enters Stage 2

Stage 2

The Diocese of North Carolina moved to Stage 2 on October 1, which means that we are permitted to have indoor worship again at St. Paul’s. The permissions of Stage 2 are not a blanket condition. Parishes must ensure that two specific public health criteria have been met. The first is that the rolling average of positive tests in your county is at 6.5% or lower, and the second is that the rate of new cases in your county remains flat. Forsyth County meets both of these conditions and so St. Paul’s is permitted to enter Stage 2.

What this means primarily is that we can begin worshipping indoors again with up to 25 people in the space. Our first indoor service will take place at 8:00 am this Sunday and will be in the chapel. The Morning Prayer live-stream will remain in the nave and the 5:00 pm Holy Eucharist will stay under the porte-cochere while the weather remains pleasant.

Stay tuned to our regular parish channels for any adjustments to this schedule and for announcements of additional indoor services.
