The Station at St. Paul’s Opens

After months of construction and renovation, the clergy, staff, and vestry are excited to open the doors to the newest addition to St. Paul’s. The Station at St. Paul’s officially opened on September 8, 2019, on the 90th Anniversary of the first service in the sanctuary. The building, constructed in 1961, was built for IBM and most recently housed the WSJS 600 AM radio station.

Today, the building opens following an extensive renovation made possible by the generous parishioners of St. Paul’s and the hard work of all involved. In addition to Sunday classes for children and adults, the building also houses an extensive amount of outreach programs including READWS whose mission is to reach, teach and advocate for struggling readers by training tutors, educators and parents to use the evidence-based, best practices of a multisensory structured literacy approach. Kids Café, another vital ministry of St. Paul’s, operates Tuesday through Thursday evenings and serves dinner followed by a homework session guided by volunteers who assist students with daily assignments.
