Wild Water and Full-Body Prayer

On Sunday, January 21 and 28, at 10:15 a.m. in Colhoun A, the Rector’s Forum will offer a two-part series titled, “Wild Water and Full-Body Prayer: Rituals in the Episcopal Church.”

Recall the last time you jumped into a pool on a hot summer’s day—the refreshment, the cool water, the all-encompassing joy of play. In the Episcopal Church, worship is like that. When we are baptized and when we receive communion, we are participating in a full-body prayer from our ears and voices to our hands and taste buds.

Come learn about how the rituals of Episcopal worship call you be “all in” and share in the joy of worshiping God with your full self.
