Bottom: St. Augustine of Canterbury landing at Kent, received by King Ethelbert. He is believed to have introduced the Benedictine Order into England. He was sent from Rome as missionary to Britain by St. Gregory.
Top: St. Wilfrid, Bishop of York, baptizing converts. He was a devoted bishop and missionary who traveled widely.
