As part of our early upper level curriculum, St. Paul’s Preschool offers weekly Wood and Clay Shop classes.

Working in wood and clay allows students to develop skills and aesthetic sensibilities that will serve them well throughout life. While safely mastering a number of specialized woodworking and sculpting tools, our preschoolers learn the vocabularies of both crafts as well as the mathematics of measurement.

Students also learn to value and enjoy the creative process as much, if not more than their finished creations.
