St. Paul’s will host a shredding, recycling and donation event to benefit The Salvation Army of Greater Winston-Salem on Saturday, September 17, from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. in the parking lot behind the church.
All are welcome to bring documents to shred, as well as computers and electronic equipment to be recycled. Donations of clothing, housewares, books, DVDs and furniture will also be accepted for sale in the Salvation Army Family Store. Cash donations may be dropped in the Red Kettle.
Proceeds will benefit The Salvation Army Boys and Girls and The Center of Hope Family Residence, Forsyth County’s only emergency refuge for homeless children, parents and single women. COR365 Information Solutions is donating the shredding services.
