Vacation Bible School will be offered Monday, July 29 through Friday, August 2 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. This year’s theme is, “To Mars and Beyond.” Registration is open to all children from three years old through rising sixth-graders.
The To Mars and Beyond space travel adventure will encourage voyagers to explore where God’s power can take them. Along the way, children will discover new possibilities as they reach for the stars and encounter the limitless power and love of God!
All are welcome to attend the closing program at 11:15 a.m. on Friday, August 2, in Colhoun A.
Adult and teen-aged volunteer Star Guides and Station Leaders are needed to help make the journey successful. Star Guides lead the voyagers from adventure to adventure. Each voyager group will need at least one adult guide and one teen guide to keep the voyagers safe and on mission. Each Station consists of at least one adult and one teen to put the voyagers through their training. The stations include Bible Story, Drama, Crafts, Science, Recreation, Snacks, Mission and Power Launchers. Adults are also needed to help voyagers find their space crews at the beginning of each day.
To volunteer, contact the Rev. Lauren Villemuer-Drenth, Director of Children’s Ministries, at firstname.lastname@example.org.
To register a child, download the registration form and mail it to Lauren, along with your check, payable to St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, for $15 per child. Scholarships are available.
