Our tradition of backpack blessing will be on August 16 during the 10 am live-stream and we have added device blessings to it.  During the service, tags for backpacks will be blessed. The tags feature a stainglass “God has got your back” on one side and “St. Paul’s loves you” with a place to put the child’s name on the other.  Each tag has a strap to easily attach to any backpack or bag. The service will, also, contain prayers for students and teachers.  After the service, from Noon to 1:15 pm, families can drive through Goodheart covered parking to get a personal device and backpack blessing, their backpack tag, and a bookmark.  Mark this on your calendar now, so you can join in and get your blessing.
